Five waters, one tap.
Kangen (還元) means “return to the origin.” Our wellness channel places Enagic’s Japanese-made water ionisers in homes, schools, gyms and offices — and every placement starts with a water test, not a pitch.
One machine separates tap water by electrolysis into five outputs across the pH scale. Two are cleaning outputs and never for drinking; most of the rest replace things you already buy.

Strong Kangen Water
Not for drinking — a cleaning output

- Vegetable wash liquid, kitchen degreaser
- Note
- Leaves through the secondary hose, not the drinking pipe — label your bottles anyway. Needs a food-grade electrolysis enhancer dosed into the cell.

Kangen Water®
For drinking and cooking

- Bottled and 20-litre can water
- Note
- Start at the lowest Kangen level and increase over a couple of weeks rather than starting at 9.5 on day one.

Clean Water
For medication and infant formula

- Nothing — this is the neutral setting
- Note
- It exists so that you are not taking tablets with alkaline water.
pH 5.5–6.5 · mildly acidic
Beauty Water
For external use

- A rinse and a cleaner — not a drinking setting.
pH 2.4–2.7 · secondary hose
Strong Acidic Water
Not for drinking — a cleaning output

- Surface sanitiser spray
- Note
- Needs a food-grade electrolysis enhancer; one addition yields roughly 3.8–4.9 litres. If you never use the strong settings, that cost is zero.
Safety — four things worth knowing
Two of the five are not drinkable
Strong Kangen (pH 11.0) and Strong Acidic (pH 2.4–2.7) are cleaning outputs. They leave through the secondary hose, not the drinking pipe.
Start low and move up
Begin at the lowest Kangen level and increase over a couple of weeks. Some people notice digestive changes when they switch abruptly.
Use neutral for medication
The pH 7.0 Clean Water setting is for medication and infant formula.
Talk to your doctor first
If you have a kidney condition, are on prescribed medication, or are pregnant, ask a qualified practitioner before changing your drinking water. We are not qualified to advise on that and will not pretend otherwise.
